Thankful Thursday

In no particular order, today find me thankful that:

• The rain started one minute after I sent Paul in the school door.
• Completely unlike me, I had actually brought an umbrella on our walk to school.
• I remembered to get the umbrella out of Paul's school bag before he went into the building.
• I am glad to have the chance to hang out this year with Paul.  As much as I miss working and look forward to seeing what employment opportunities our new life will bring, I am grateful for our morning and afternoon walks. I am thankful for our time together on what Paul calls "school breakout day" and the rest of us call "Friday."
